Can You Help All of Us Get Ready 2 Recover?

Unincorporated Alameda County and East Oakland have suffered too long from COVID.   We know that COVID-19 tests, vaccines, and education did not reach our communities fast enough. Because of this – hard-working Black, Latinx, and Pacific Islander residents are the least likely to be fully vaccinated in our communities.  We need your help in turning our communities around and to fully recover.

Are you Ready 2 Recover?

Our communities have been held back by COVID, and we have been also held back by not having access to healthcare, good jobs and community investment.  We are launching our Ready 2 Recover campaign to not only recover, but recover towards a better future, together.

Ready 2 Recover campaign will be knocking on doors, canvassing, hosting vaccination events, and engaging with community networks to vaccinate residents, connect residents to health, housing, and important supports, and strengthen our neighborhoods. Are you and your family Ready 2 Recover with us?

The Ready 2 Recover campaign will be working with community members in Unincorporated Alameda County and East Oakland to increase vaccination resources, connect residents to important health and economic resources, and build community strength as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic together. The Ready 2 Recover campaign is driven by community organizations with deep roots in East Oakland and Unincorporated Alameda County. The COVID-19 pandemic has hurt communities of color at dramatically higher rates and we are committed to addressing these inequities.
