is a board certified psychiatrist (CA License A22640). Dr. Lauer provides medication management services for clients in our Outpatient Department, as well as supervision of all the psychiatry services provided by La Familia. He graduated from Yale University and University of California Medical School. Roger interned at Gorgas Hospital, Panama Canal Zone, and then completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. Subsequently, he worked at the National Institute of Mental Health, UCSF, and U.S. Department of State. He also has experience working in private practice.
