Jovan Yglecias
Chief Operating Officer
Jovan Yglecias is an LMFT and a dynamic clinical operations executive with 22 years of direct service, clinical supervision, model development, innovation, advocacy and consultation in multiple counties in the Bay Area and Northern California., where he has been a recognized leader for over a decade plus. He earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and completed his master’s degree at the University of San Francisco. With 20 years of experience working in Alameda County, Jovan’s career has focused on supporting individuals affected by the criminal justice system, crisis response, and housing services.
His leadership reflects a deep commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable populations through innovative service delivery, system navigation, social justice and cultural infrastructure. Jovan began his career working with incarcerated BIPOC youth in the East Bay and quickly rose to lead Alameda County’s first Forensic Assertive Community Treatment program. From there he helped to lead a local heritage community based organization to exponential growth in behavioral health and housing services over a 12 year period.
Jovan is driven by the principles of harm-reduction, housing first, data as the source of truth, and the clinical philosophy that everything in service to the relationship is the vessel by which meaningful change happens.
