Manuel J. Jiménez Jr., MA, LMFT is the Regional Director of the Central Valley Region of La Familia. With over 30 years of experience as a leader in the mental health community both locally and throughout the state, Manuel is responsible for establishing programs for adults, children, those with a dual diagnosis, as well as programs specifically for the Latino community. Manuel is dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the mental health services that they need.

Manuel has held many positions at county mental health departments throughout the state, including having served as Mental Health Director for both Merced and Alameda Counties. He has also served on many state, local, and nonprofit boards and is currently on the Board of Directors of Sutter Health. Notably, he received the honor of being appointed the first chair of the Latino Affairs Commission for the City of South Lake Tahoe. He also served on the First 5 Commission for Merced County.
