Kimberly is in her second year at La Familia Counseling Services as Director of School Based Services. Prior to joining La Familia, Kim held positions with various agencies in Alameda County, including Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center and We Care Services for Children in Concord. Kim earned her M.S. from California State University, East Bay in 1996. Kim is dually licensed, earning her Marriage Family Therapist License in 2004 and a Professional Clinical Counselor License in 2014. Kim is a graduate of the Harris Early Childhood Training Program and the Napa Infant Parent Mental Health Fellowship Program. Kim also holds training in the areas of Program Development and Implementation and Mid-Level Management. In addition to being a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Kim is endorsed as an Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist and a Reflective Practice Facilitator II, as well as a Registered Circle of Security Parent Educator.
